Frequently Asked Questions
Each year, we're asked some questions from those participating, so we're aiming to answer a few of them here:
Do I need to wrap my Reverse Advent Calendar so it's ready to be presented to the recipient?
Answer: We're happy to receive hampers either way. Big hampers we often set aside as special door prizes, or we send them out to larger families. We do often need to pull some apart, however, to better suit the size family they're going to.
Do I have to follow your example of what to add to the hamper?
Answer: You're welcome to add what you'd like to your hamper package, however, we can't accept alcohol, medication or cash in our hampers. Please let us know if you've added a gift card.
Can I just deliver some non-perishable items or Christmas treats to you and not complete a full hamper?
Answer: Absolutely! We're thrilled to receive bags of items we can use to top-up other hampers or assist us with packing our smaller hamper bags that go out at our Christmas Eve lunch. Please just let us know it's not a complete hamper when you deliver it.
We'd love for you to be involved in creating a hamper or two this year, either just from yourself, your family or gather a group together and create a few.
If you're going to create a hamper or two, we'd love for you to let us know by completing this short form so we can plan ahead.
We're looking forward to celebrating Christmas with our community, we hope you are too.
